Each year the Johnstonian News invites area schools to participate in a contest allowing students to create ads for local businesses. Each business chooses their favorite ad to be featured in a special edition of the newspaper.
We were honored to be invited as a participating school. Our 7 students worked together to complete a total of 19 ads for the contest!
We had quite a fun time exploring the different elements of design, analyzing magazine advertisements, and applying their newfound knowledge to create their own captivating ads.
We are proud to share that one of our students, Levi Lopez, was chosen by local business TAL Dreams Food Truck.
